RPT4everybody is an ambitious personal training business from Zeewolde, The Netherlands, focused on exercise and nutrition guidance with many specializations. Ronald Verhagen, owner of RPT4everybody , has been a personal trainer for years, providing guidance and advice to people who want to adapt to a healthier lifestyle. Verhagen caters to a wide variety of clients, including clients with (mental) disabilities and medical issues. For this approach, Verhagen demanded nothing less than a top notch system that would help him with his needs, but one that also gives his clients the ability to utilize the system in order for them to achieve their goals.
“A few years ago I used several different programs to run my business. That was inconvenient for both me and my clients,” says Ronald Verhagen. “It was hard for me to stay in touch with my clients and help them when they were not in my office.” Verhagen’s primary goal is to optimize his clients’ quality of life, yet poor communication tools made it difficult to stay in touch with his clients to discuss exercise and food plans. Consequently, his service was lacking the quality he wanted to offer.

He creates both general workout templates as well as tailor-made workouts in the web platform. After assigning them to his clients, they can access them via the mobile app. With a touch of a button, clients mark workouts as completed, which Verhagen can track in real time via the activity stream.
“It’s great to have one system that allows me to do everything in one place. I can reach out to my clients wherever I am and give them advice when I see they need it. It’s great how the system allows me to be this flexible”, says Verhagen.

They are always very positive and excited about it. Especially the professional layout and user friendliness convinces them to start working with me. My clients rarely have any questions regarding the functionalities of the system.” This personal and user friendly experience has helped Verhagen to improve his acquisition efforts with more than 30% over the last year.
Besides achieving excellent results in terms of acquisition, it is just as important for him to retain his existing clients. Since he began to work with Virtuagym, retention increased, with an increase of 41,5% in 2016.

It allows Verhagen to track his clients’ exercise and nutrition data and adjust their plans accordingly. “I save at least 6 hours a week using the mobile apps alone. It allows me to support my clients even when they’re not here with me. The use of the apps also saves my clients time, as they don’t need to get behind a computer anymore.”
