I am not a PRO user but today a new user , supposingly female, has sent emails stating they are male and asking about dating - not what I expected from here. Smells of a scam. Can non pro people block specific users from bugging them?

I'm sorry that happened to you. It happened to me only once in my time on Virtuagym. I reported it to Hugo and he handled it. The rest of us are here because we want to stay/get fit and to support others trying to do the same.

Hi janeinma, im also sorry to hear you got a spam message. These users try to abuse our system. We already build in a detection mechanist for these kind of activities (so we recognise this kind of behaviour) and these users get deactivated automatically. Yesterday this happened to the user that sent you the message. Please let me know if you experience any more of this kind of problems. So we can keep improving our spam detection machanism and make sure everybody can get fit without being spammed ;-)

When uploading progress pictures, what size do they need to be to fit the window. I'm making my pictures very small and still not fitting. It's been rather time consuming.

I'm becoming very frustrated with the Virtuagym food app. I find it very difficult to get it to app to sync or even to find the correct foods. I wish foods were entered per ounce rather than per 100 ounces. Currently, the app won't even let me enter any foods. I've been having this problem for about a week. It will spin (think) forever and then tell me there is a sync issue. The app will then tell me I have a password issue even though I've logged in. Any advice you could give would be appreciated.

I was just wondering why the nutrition Android app only takes into account calories burnt via Virtuagym, but the desktop version nutrition diary takes into account calories burnt from Virtuagym and Fitbit? It would be great if the Android app would have the calories burnt from Virtuagym and Fitbit like the desktop version, thanks :)

Hey, I've just subscribed to this because you seemed the best for the price and your UI design is good, however the UX is a nightmare. On mobile, PLEASE make it possible to view the activity videos when we are creating workouts. If I'm creating one and I want to see a video of an activity to decide if I want to add it, the only way is to add it first, save the workout, then start it (!) which finally lets me click on the activities to see them, and then I have to go to the calendar and delete the workout because I didn't actually do it. This is nuts! Also, when I add an activity it takes me out of the list of activities and back to the workout page... but I'm not done adding for that muscle group yet! Then I have to choose the muscle group again, scroll down all the way to where I was and keep looking for activities (I rarely remember their names and I'm trying to discover new ones). I add another one, back to workout page again! Just let us keep adding exercises from say the 'abs' activity list until we're done with those, then we can choose to go back to the muscle groups page to choose exercises for a different group. Also, in the muscles groups diagram you should have a 'cardio' category too. Allow us to scroll faster by using one of those scroll bars that show the initial, like in contact lists. Allow us to bookmark some of your workouts, for example if I know I'll want to do the 'Abs & cardio' workout often, let me add it to 'My workouts' when I select it, or to a new 'bookmarked' menu, not just add to calendar. Allow us to filter activities and workouts by equipment. This leads me to your portal. I thought it would be easier to create workouts there but it's also a mess. In the wizard it lets me select machines OR dumbbells OR no equipment. What if I want 2 or 3 of those? It's either or! Now on the portal along with activities and workouts we have plans. Why the inconsistency with mobile? Anyway, there's a lot more to complain about on the web portal, could go on and on. I'm an information designer so I know about usability, you're pretty terrible at it, even though your app looks good. If I hadn't paid for a year I wouldn't be bothering, you require too much effort from the user to get around your terrible UX shortcomings.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We work very hard to bring you the best solution, but we're by far from perfect, which is partially because we are a small team covering a very broad product range (we also have a Professional solution for gyms and trainers with many additional options). Anyway, we do strive for perfection and therefore your feedback is highly appreciated! Some of the features, such as the cardio group and material filter are planned (latter is already available for iOS). As for the workout creation issues, I totally agree with your feedback. We will change it to be able to preview exercises before adding and the option to continue to add exercises without going back to the workout. Thanks again for taking the effort to give your great feedback and suggestions!

Further comments, this time on progress tracker: allow us to touch the numerical value and enter it with a keyboard, not just swipe up and down until we find the number. I had the problem that I changed from initial imperial to metric. Then when I tried to enter weight for the first time it showed 165 (or something like that) instead of 75, meaning the unit is now Kg but the value was still the one for pounds. Took me ages to scroll from 165 to 75, as you can image, because I can't just type the value in! I'm entering not just weight but also fat %, the selection of which value to enter is a huge mess. Let's say this: I have both showing (weight % with a red circle and fat with a blue circle. At the bottom my weight is showing. If I touch 'Enter new value' I can enter new weight. Now I want to enter fat %, how do I do it? I have to touch Fat or Weight to get the side menu and deselect weight so that I only have fat % showing, and then I can enter fat %. What?? Why??? In my opinion the best way would be to touch the words at the top to enter a new value (so if I touch Fat % there, I'd get a field and a keyboard to enter a value for Fat %) . Those words should not be where you choose what to show on the graph, that should be elsewhere (for example at the bottom where currently it says to enter new value, should say 'metrics to display' or whatever). Priorities in the tracker seem completely inverted. Or alternatively, when I click 'Enter new value', I'd get a window with a drop down menu to choose the metric (weight or fat%) and the field to type the value.

Could I also suggest that you can order groups of workouts and perhaps add workout blocks to the Workout Editor instead of just individual exercises. At the moment I have a warm-up stretch workout, an abs workout, and a cool down workout for the same day. The only way to get them in the right order is to manually move each excercise individually on the Android mobile app - I can't move any exercise ordering on the desktop version. On the whole I love the product, and am happy to pay the years subscription, but this particular design flaw is getting quite irritating!

All my "Chin ups" exercises have change name to "Pull up neutral grip"?
Have you change name? If so "Pull up reverse grip" had been a better replace.
All my logs now says ""Pull up neutral grip" and I do not get any count in my week and year "Chin ups" challenges .. :-(

Hi, I don't know if this feature is implemented in which I would love to be told how :D

If not then here is my request, right now I would like to reset my future planned workouts, however since I set them for 16 weeks I have to go into every day and manually delete it, it would be great to have an option to reset/clear all future activities in the schedule :D

Hi there, thanks for your message! You are absolutely able to take out the entire plan at once. What you need to do is go to the app training, at type choose "plans used by me" find the plan and click on "remove from calendar". Let me know if you still have questions!
